Editing is required when a piece is too long and needs to be shortened, is too short and needs to be lengthened, when the language just needs to be smoothed out, or for many other reasons.

Having edited for nearly as long as I’ve been writing, I am capable of rapidly and expertly editing content, when needed.

I have also edited a great deal of content for proper English, with material written by people whose English is a second language. This can come in very useful for companies trying to break into the English-speaking market, raising their professional image considerably.
